In 2005 Prim-Ed Publishing formed a partnership with Promethean Ltd to distribute interactive whiteboards in Ireland. We have become a leader and innovator in interactive learning Technologies that empowers teachers and presenters to engage, educate, assess and motivate learners.
Promethean’s Activ software (comprising Activprimary and/or Activstudio) are sold for use on non Promethean whiteboards exclusively within the United Kingdom. Promethean clearly states in the software licensing agreements that these products are for use within the UK. Use of either Activprimary or Activstudio on a non-Promethean board in the Republic of Ireland clearly breaches the terms and conditions of purchase and could lead to the initiation of legal proceedings against all parties involved.
